The project

Where there was no music,we left the color.

In a year of empty streets and silence from the absence of Carnival, Ballantine's decided to honor the memory and route of the festivities. INGF produced a visual tribute to the main blocos of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, marking the paths where the magic used to flow.

Our curation selected local artists to reinterpret the brand's commemorative bottle, applying their visual languages in murals that paid homage to the iconic blocos of each city. Juline Lobão in São Paulo and Thiago Thipan in Rio — two perspectives, two cities, one celebration.

Where there was no music, we left the color. Where there was no gathering, we left a manifesto of respect for those who make Carnival happen.

Transformamos o asfalto silencioso em um palco de reconhecimento. Our curation here was about capturing the soul of each bloco and ensuring that, even without the parade, the spirit of Carnival would be present in the city.
