Own Project · Largo do Arouche · São Paulo
Long before giant building murals became mainstream, the O.bra Festival reimagined the São Paulo skyline. It was one of the first international muralism festivals in the country, bringing an unprecedented dynamic: we invited 10 artists who, in turn, each chose a global partner to paint alongside them.
The city center became a construction site of monumental scale. For 15 days, Largo do Arouche was the epicenter of an urban revolution that united the tops of buildings with an intense program of workshops, talks, and music.
O.bra was not just a festival. It was the project that taught Brazil to look up and understand the power of public art.
O.bra was our physical manifesto. We proved it was possible to transform the architecture of São Paulo into a global conversation between artists, without intermediaries, directly on the concrete.
