Urban Nation Museum · Berlin
In 2017, Berlin opened the world's largest urban art museum, and INGF was there as one of the minds behind that historic opening. We were invited to join the team of eight international curators responsible for the inaugural exhibition of the Urban Nation Museum for Urban Contemporary Art.
The challenge was of colossal proportions: orchestrating the production of over 120 artists in a celebration that changed the status of street art forever. Our curation brought pillars of the movement — Zezão, Speto, Faith 47, Herakut, Nunca — ensuring the museum opened with the power and diversity the genre demands.
A milestone that cemented INGF as a key player in the story of global contemporary art.
Being part of the Urban Nation opening was the recognition of a journey. Being among the curators who defined the initial collection of the world's largest urban art museum is proof that Instagrafite does not meras observa o movimento, nós ajudamos a criá-lo.
